Wizard of Oz
New for Christmas 2006 this set relies heavily on flown pieces together with six cloths. It was designed for a venue with an 8 metre opening and a depth behind the proscenium of only 4.9 metre at centre line although there was also a central upstage recess which was also utilised. In a normal venue it requires a depth of at least 7.2 metre.
The balloon flies seperately from Dorothy - she being on her own personnel flying system as was the wicked witch for several entrances. The systems used came from HiFli although several other companies, including Foys and Kirbys, would have suitable equipment.
